Luxury lifestyle brand Canada Goose has opened a permanent store in Manchester.

The boutique, located on New Cathedral Street in the city’s central district, will carry a wide assortment of the brand’s latest collections of luxury outerwear, clothing, footwear and accessories.

It will also feature collaborations and new product launches in the coming seasons.

Carrie Baker, President of Canada Goose, said: “We are proud to officially call Manchester home, following the success of our recent Pop-Up which was well received by local shoppers and international visitors.

“This permanent store gives customers the opportunity to learn what our promise to inspire and empower everyone to thrive in the outside world truly means. ‘to provide an unfiltered and elevated experience for our loyal Manchester community.

The company had taken over the former 2,000 square foot UGG unit between the Polo Ralph Lauren and Burberry stores as a temporary “Live in the Open” pop-up, the “first of its kind to launch in Europe”. The pop-up was supposed to be open until spring 2022 but is now permanent.

The brand also has a 5,000 square foot flagship store in Regent Street, London.

Driven in particular by sales, the cult down jacket brand recorded a solid post-pandemic performance.
