North West District FFA Members Receive FFA State Diploma

MANHATTAN — A total of 8 members from the Northwest District received their FFA state diplomas at the 94th Kansas FFA Convention, June 1-3, 2022, on the campus of Kansas State University.

The state diploma is the highest honor the Kansas FFA Association can bestow on its members. In order to obtain this award, members must meet the following conditions: have graduated from the FFA of a chapter, have been a member of the FFA and have been studying agricultural education for at least two years, earn at least 2,000 USD or have worked 600 hours as part of their supervised agricultural experience program. , gave a six-minute speech on agriculture or FFA, participated in eight different leadership activities, achieved a “C” average or better in high school, and demonstrated leadership and commitment exceptional community.

Members who have met these qualifications and their respective North West District FFA chapters are: Hay – Amelia Kathleen Jaeger, Karli Shae Neher, Cyrus Walter Vajnar; Edge of the lake – Julie Anne Schindler, Reilly Stremel-Smith, Carter Machelle Walsh; Russell –Kirsten Kyger; Smith Center – Kaley Wagner.

Each state diploma recipient receives a state diploma charm—a symbol of member growth and development—sponsored by Kansas Electric Cooperatives.
